Cabinet Mine "From mining to toy making"

The mechanical cabinet mine displays the historical process of change from a miner to a toy maker. It consists of three parts: The basic component is the mechanical Christmas arch base. This may be combined with the Christmas arches from the series “From a miner to a toy maker”. Additionally, there is an option to purchase a Christmas arch specially made for this base. The center part of this customized Christmas arch is an agile miner figure at work. Please see the image on the left. Item no. 202/160 / M. The base is available individually, however the mechanical Christmas arch is only available in combination with the base since the gearbox is sitting in the base. In addition to that there is a tailor-made cupboard available in order to set the scene effectively for the Christmas arch and the base. Furthermore, this Christmas arch together with the movable base is of course an impressive sight in a window at Christmas time.
Hump mine: Miner invalids carried this on their backs. It served as contemplation of how miners worked in the underground. At markets and other gatherings the hump mine was demonstrated by using a hand crank to get the mechanical part going.
